Duke Construction – Legacy – Gwinnett County, GA

Duke Construction began its relationship with DCG in 2005. Since then, DCG has demonstrated not only an ability to provide quality land planning and civil engineering services to Duke on various metro area land development projects.

A significant project that DCG is providing land planning, civil engineering and land surveying services for Duke is Legacy, currently under construction in Gwinnett County. Legacy, when completed will provide over 1,000,000 square feet of office and retail space on more than 100 acres with buildings ranging in size from 5,000 square feet to over 100,000 square feet.

DCG has proudly served Duke in East Point, Alpharetta, and Gwinnett County, Georgia. Services provided include: conceptual land planning; rezoning assistance; comprehensive grading design and earthwork calculations; stormwater management and water quality Best Management Practices design; roadway design; full construction plan preparation and permitting; Georgia DOT permitting; and NPDES coordination and inspections. Collectively, DCG has provided land planning, and civil engineering services on more than 2,000,000 square feet of commercial and office space on almost 285 acres of development projects for Duke Construction.

The Greater Atlanta Christian School educates over 1,800 students from pre-school to grade 12 on its 81-acre campus in Norcross, Georgia.

DCG has been serving the school’s land planning, engineering design, and land surveying needs for more than 10 years for campus additions in excess of 100,000 square feet; a 3000-person capacity athletics stadium; an aquatic center with an Olympic-size swimming pool; and several other minor campus improvements. Engineering design services include: full construction plan preparation and permitting; comprehensive grading design with earthwork analysis; erosion control plans; design of storm drainage, sanitary sewer, and water distribution systems; and design of stormwater management facilities. DCG also provided land surveying services, including: topographic surveys; construction staking; and post-construction surveys for the campus.
